Web cam hiccup

Late last week I discovered the web cam was sending the same picture over and over. Must have liked what it saw and couldn’t move on. So, today was the first opportunity that I had to go by the construction trailer to do a little diagnostics. After confirming the camera was recording properly I rebooted and we will see if it corrected the problem, if not I call in the big IT guns Thursday to really fix it.

While I was there, I grabbed a few shots on the beautiful sunny day of the Work Site.

The plumber and electrician were there laying out their infrastructure that will go under the slab which is schedule to be poured next week.

On the lower level you can begin to see the lay out.

The first picture is the southwest side of the lower level which are mostly going to be utility type of rooms from the pump room to the mechanical room to a storage area in the center/right of the picture.

This picture shows a couple of classrooms in the foreground. The electrician is kneeling about where a stud wall will divide the big space into two classrooms. In front of him is the “Youth Lounge”. On the Youth Lounge side of this wall will be mounted a flat screen monitor for displaying 1) Calendar and Room assignments for people as they enter 2) Videos and promo clips for ministries that will be happening during gathering times 3) Or used as a Video teaching tool during Bible Studies and small group sessions.

Then this picture is two more classrooms on this same wall adjacent to the above two for a total of four classrooms. Each room has two connections for Video, Computer Network Connections, and/or phones. The entryway from the outside directly into “Youth World” is the hallway you see in the upper left hand corner of the picture. It will have a card key entry system with security monitor and intercom along with a double door “airlock” entry with built in floor mats. This will most likely be the main entry for activities happening in the Youth World.
