100 Days…

The countdown begins on Ash Wednesday. On this day, there will be only 100 days until we move into the new site. As a means of preparing and committing ourselves for this new and exciting phase of God’s work through the Glen Mar family, we will be spnding this time in prayer. Mandy has presented this much better than I in her posting at The Vine. Take a minute and read it, and then take another minute and pray…

News From New Cut

The dock planks (concrete supports) for the stage have been installed.

Updated Construction Schedule

I have posted the latest construction schedule on the links to the left. Please note that it is 5 pages and full of details, so the download is almost 1MB.

Here is a link if you are lazy….

The Vine

There is a new blog called The Vine and it is for all things worship (and then some). Currently, there is Mandy’s observations from the Large Church Initiative conference that the entire staff went to last week. Check it out at thevine.glenmarchurch.org.

Final & First Services

Well, Andy mentioned this in his sermon, so it must be official. (As long as we stay on the current schedule!) The final services at the Glen Mar Road site will be held on May 4th.  At the end of each service, there will be a “pilgrimage” to the new site for tours and brunch.

The first service at the Montgomery Road (aka New Cut) site, will be May 11th with new service times. Sunday services will be at 8:15, 9:30, and 11:00 and the youth will be preaching at all 3 services (it is Mother’s Day after all) with the Confirmation service held later that day at 4 p.m.  This is going to be a busy and exciting day!

The Grand Opening will  May 18th!
